This message is inspired by the Reading, Never Weaken from the Book Overcoming Darkness

Daily we face encounters with Unclean Spirits. As we Overcome Darkness, we develop a keen awareness of the enemy’s many unclean devices. We Study and participate in Bible Study. We learn the Scriptures. Our outward appearance and belief is that we are carrying out God’s Will (God Wants). Meanwhile, internally we are succumbing to Spiritual Wickedness in High Places. Our Self-Righteous Spirit “Thinks” and “Believes” our Human Spirit can understand Right (Right is Right). Conversely, Our Spiritual Eyes “Know and Understand” the Truth. We use them to release our mind from the Spirit of Self-Righteousness. (Romans 10:3, Luke 18:9, John 1:8, Proverbs 16:2)

The Spirit of Self-Righteousness is easily recognized. This Spirit never applies the Spirit of Order as defined in the Scriptures. It is combative. It is always critical of others’ practices. It never listens but always has the answer. The Spirit of Self-Righteousness relies solely on its own understanding. (1 John 1: 5-6, Proverbs 3: 5-6)

 As Spiritual Beings, we reject the Spirit of Self-Righteousness. We reject our Spirit of Free Will (Free Will). We reject any thoughts or beliefs that do not conform to God’s Order. 

Mastery of Free Will conquers Self-Righteousness. Our Thoughts, Actions and deeds are founded on a “Thus saith the Lord.” Working out our own salvation is critical to our Spiritual Growth (Clean Up Your Own House). We are continually challenged to Let Go and Let God. When We let God Order our Steps, we are not confused by our Spirit of Self-Righteousness. We understand that a Self-Righteous Spirit is one of the wiles of the enemy. We understand we must Flee the enemy and all of his devices. (Psalm 37:5, Isaiah 55:8, James 4:7)
