That Guides Your Journey
This Message is inspired by the Reading, “The Road Less Traveled” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.
As we travel Life’s Highway we make a multitude of choices. Our Human Spirit will attempt to make decisions with the “Old Man Spirit” in mind. Daily, we must remind ourselves that the “Old Man Spirit” is controlled by the Fruits of Evil. While taking our journey on the Road Less Traveled, we grow to overcome the follies of our former thinking. We put aside the Unclean Spirits to which we once subscribed. (Ephesians 4:22, Proverbs 26:11, 2 Peter 2:22)
As we grow Spiritually, we make decisions with our Spiritual Eyes. Our Spiritual Eyes keep our minds stayed on God and His Righteousness. This Spirit grants us a Peace that surpasses all Understanding. We understand that God is a God of Order (Order Pt. 3). This Spirit grants us the Peace to always Let Go and Let God in all of our affairs. On the Road Less Traveled we have firsthand knowledge of how all things work together for those that love God and are called according to His Purpose. (Isaiah 26:3, Philippians 4:7, Romans 8:28)
Traveling the Road Less Traveled we are ever conscious of the Blessings God has already Granted Us. We see our successes as Blessings, not of our own capabilities but by the Grace of God. On the Road Less Traveled we do not conform to the Spirit of this World. Our Spirit is grounded in the matters that are true, honest, just and pure. (Philippians 4:19, Philippians 4:8, Romans 12:2)
Song of the Week
“The Road Less Traveled” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr
THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED
The road less traveled
Far and near
Singing voices
Ringing in my ear
Being mindful of his cheer
Being prayerful for his promises always near
Being overwhelmed by his glory
Being blessed to tell the story
The road less traveled
All along Life’s Highway
Knowing tomorrow will be yesterday
Can bring joy and a better day
Knowing his will
Is always for good
We can’t doubt
Even if we could
The road less traveled
A highway it is
Full of his blessings
And the promises he fulfills
