That Guides Your Journey
This Message is inspired by the Reading “Thoughts” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.
Renewing our Minds is essential to our Spiritual Growth. The Day-to-Day rigors of the World take a toll on our Spiritual Life. Transforming and Renewing our minds begins when we recognize that our Flesh is weak. Then we strengthen our Spiritual Mind to withstand the wiles of the Devil (I am Strong But I am Weak). (Matthew 26:41, Galatians 5:17, Romans 7:18, 1 John 2:16, Ephesians 6:11)
God promises to keep us in perfect peace if we keep our minds stayed on Him. The Enemy will use manipulative tactics to appeal to our Flesh. But when we acknowledge God as our Shepherd, we never have wants. We suppress the desires of the Flesh and strengthen our Spirit. (Isaiah 26:3, Psalms 26:1, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
The Devil continually attacks and attempts to devour our Flesh. We daily welcome the opportunity to Put on the Whole Armor that we are thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Jesus demonstrated the power of his Spiritual Mind when he was tempted by the Devil. He showed us yielding not to the temptations of the flesh keeps us in Perfect Peace. (Psalms 27:2, Matthew 4:3-4, James 1:12-13)
Our Transformation is accomplished when the Unclean Spirits of Anger, Self-Righteousness and Blame are no longer a part of our Spirit. (Don’t Bite Off The Fruit). Our Spirit is focused on the matters that are Right and acceptable in God’s Sight (Right v. Freewill). Our Transformation and Renewing of our Mind allows us to focus on the thoughts that are pure and lovely. These thoughts build our Spiritual Character. We dwell on the fact that God’s Yoke is easy and his burden Light. (Romans 12:2, Ephesians 6:11, Matthew 11:29-30)

THOUGHTS
A flower can we grow
Without the rain water’s flow
A mind can we reach
Without the tools to teach
A day can we see
Without wanting a sun that shines
Life’s highway can we travel
Without a little time
A river cannot flow
Without a place to go
A picture cannot exist
Without a scene to show
A life can we live
Without wanting to give
Blessings do we deserve
If God we do not serve
