That Guides Your Journey
This message is inspired by the Reading Life from the Book Overcoming Darkness.
In this Time of Trouble, we are surrounded by Evil. Deceiving Spirits are roaming the Earth tempting us into impatience. These Spirits prey on the desires of our Flesh. In times of adversity, our flesh seeks to find remedies to remove the obstacles in our path. The Voice of Self fuels our Self-Righteous Spirit and causes us not to seek first the Kingdom of God and wait on the Lord. (Luke 19:43, 1 Peter 5:8, Proverbs 16:2, Matthew 6:13, Psalms 37:7, Matthew 6:33, Isaiah 40:31)
We can measure our Spiritual Growth by the measure of Patience we exhibit Endurance. We learn in the Scriptures that Patience is a Virtue full of Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. Our exercise of Patience lets us know that God is always in control. Our Faith grants us Patience in knowing that God has promised us life and the ability to live life abundantly. We learn through Prayer and Supplication to wait on God to reveal answers and solutions in any adversity (A Word From The Lord). (Galatians 5:22, John 10:10, Philippians 4:6-7)
Our Patience never lets us render Evil for Evil (Rendering Evil For Evil). We have Faith in God that in due season we will have the victory. We have put the worldly thinking of the flesh asunder and are guided by God’s Spirit of Love and Patience. We know that Evil Spirits coming against us shall never prosper (No Weapons Formed Against Us). God granted us Authority to cast away Evil Spirits through the Power of His Word. (1 Peter 3:9, Galatians 6:9, Isaiah 54:17, Matthew 9:23, Matthew 10:10)
Our daily challenge is not to grow weary in doing good. The cares of this world will test our ability to stand back and see the salvation of the Lord. Patience is the main ingredient in building our Faith. Patience builds our character. Patience builds Endurance. We cast all of our cares upon God. We are very slow to Anger. (Exodus 14:13, Proverbs 15:18, Proverbs 14:29)
Song for the Week:
“Praise Party” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr
LIFE
If there was no Sun
How could we exist
If there was not life
What would we miss
If there was no Water
What would we drink
If we had no Mind
How could we think
If there was no Rain
How could a Flower grow
If we had no Thoughts
What would we know
If there was no Moon
Would there be an Earth
If there were no mothers
Who would give birth
All these blessings in Life
God gives to us each day
Showing all Mankind
His Word is the only way
