This Message is inspired by the Reading, “The Peace from the Book, Overcoming Darkness.

Job experienced loss of business, loss of family and loss of good health. Through it all, Job never angered and never lost his Faith in God. He rejoiced in hope and was patient in tribulation. Job exhibited endurance. He waited on the Lord. (Job 1: 7-13, Psalm 27:14)

Our daily challenge is not to grow weary in doing good. The cares of this world will test our ability to stand back and see the salvation of the Lord. Patience is the main ingredient in building our Faith. Patience builds our character. Patience builds Endurance. We learn to cast all of our cares upon Him. We are slow to Anger. (Exodus 14:13, Proverbs 15:18, Proverbs 14:29)

As we grow Spiritually we keep ourselves in perfect Peace. If we exhibit just a small amount of Faith, we can move mountains. Nothing is impossible. Job’s guidance demonstrates the Blessing that comes from Patience. He was Blessed with twice as much.  (Matthew 17:20, Job 42:10)

Song of the Week

“Confidence in You” Performed by John Stuckey Jr

PEACE

His presence in the storm

Is like a refreshing and calming balm

He knows what tomorrow holds

Wrapped in His loving arms

In the darkness of the night

He will make everything alright

With His broad wings of love

He overcomes Satan’s might

Like the birds will always sing

Like the symbol of the wedding ring

There is no power on this earth

That can bring about our end

The Peace that exceeds understanding

When our fists are bound so tight

He then whispers in our ears

Perfect love is our heart’s delight

His Peace is wrapped in patience

And sprinkled with kindness and joy

If we walk in His authority

We’ll enjoy life, reach for more

He will give us Peace

But only if we believe

All things are possible

With the faith of a mustard seed
