That Guides Your Journey
This message is inspired by the Reading, “Clean Up” from the Book, Overcoming Darkness.
We are challenged daily to remove all Evil works from our Spirit. Our Tongue is the perpetrator of our Evil works. It is full of views, opinions and justification. It is boastful, proud, ungrateful, and slanderous. It engages in gossip and finds fault in others’ actions. It condemns others and promotes its own self-righteous spirit. (Right is Right) (Ephesians 4:29, James 3:6)
Our Demons and Generational Curses are released through our Tongue. Our Tongue takes pleasure in debate and confusion and controversy. It is an unruly evil. It has no shame. It encourages blame. (James 3:8)
Our daily goal is to engage in all holy conversation. Our Spiritual Eyes encourage us to say something good or say nothing at all. (A Better Way) We refrain from commentary on what others should be doing. Daily we are cleaning up our own house by working out our own salvation. (Proverbs 18:21, 1 Peter 3:10, Proverbs 21:3)
Song of the Week
“Clean Up Your Own House” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr
CLEAN UP
Clean up your own house
Leave other houses alone
Can’t give me no answers
If your thinking is wrong
Clean up your own mind
You will have lasting Grace
A clean mind is essential
To run the Kingdom Race
Clean up your own life
Let not others interfere
God has a plan for you
And is always standing near
Clean up your own house
And let it be seen
Then we can show others
What a clean house means
