This Message is inspired by the Reading Peace from the Book Overcoming Darkness.

As we grow Spiritually we learn not to succumb to Trials and Adversities. These are mere obstacles that test our Faith and Endurance.  Our Flesh which we know is weak will Pray for God to remove the Trial and Adversities. Our New Spirit’s Prayer is for God not to move the Mountain, but to give us the strength to climb (Not If But When). When we come to know God, we realize that His Yoke is Easy and His Burden is Light. We trust that All Things Work Together for our Good. (Psalm 55:22, Philippians 4:19, Matthew 26:41, Romans 12:12, Matthew 11:28-30, Romans 8:28)

Spiritually, we are always at Peace regardless of any adversities that enter our Path. We know that God Who is Omnipotent is only Testing our Spirit. In adversity, We increase our Faith and Patience. When we Trust in God, we seek His Blessings in all we encounter. We seek God’s Blessings in sickness, family matters, work, business and any of the Cares of this World. We let the Power of God’s Spirit lead guide and direct our Hearts. When we Let Go and Let God we fully appreciate that God’s Yoke is Easy and His burden is Light. (2 Thessalonians 3:16, John 16:33, Isaiah 26:3, Proverbs 3:5-6, Mark 4:19, Matthew 11:30)

The Old Man will always attempt to induce us to let our Flesh and Eyes determine our Path (Old Wine, New Bottle). The Old Man shows up when we are experiencing a Trial or Disappointment. We empower the Old Man by saying “Somebody’s Got to do Something.”  When we open our Eyes of Understanding, Our New Spirit relinquishes control and abandons our former thinking. We now stand back and see the Salvation of the Lord. (Ephesians 4:22-24, John 14:7, Colossians 3:9-10, Exodus 14:13)

God’s Yoke is Easy. It is our Flesh that makes matters difficult (The “I Spirit”). Our Flesh attempts to walk by Sight and not by Faith. As we grow in understanding, we learn to Put on the whole armor of God. God’s Armor provides protection not only from outside forces but also our Inner Demons (Unclean Spirits). God is the Alpha and the Omega. His Promise is to keep us in Perfect Peace when we keep our minds stayed on Him. Our Daily Prayer is for the Peace that Surpasses all Understanding. (2 Corinthians 5:7, Ephesians 6:11-12, Revelation 1:8, Isaiah 26:3, Philippians 4:7)

Song for the Week:

“Mountain Top Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr

PEACE

His Presence in the Storm

Is like a refreshing and calming balm

He knows what tomorrow holds

 Wrapped in His loving arms

In the darkness of the night

 He will make everything alright

With His broad wings of love

He overcomes Satan’s might

Like the birds will always sing

Like the symbol of the wedding ring

There is no power on this earth

That can ever bring our end

The Peace that exceeds understanding

When our fist are bound so tight

He then whispers in our ears

Perfect love is our hearts’ delight

His Peace is wrapped in patience

And sprinkled with kindness and joy

If we walk in His authority

We’ll enjoy life, reach for more

He will give us Peace

But only if we believe

All things are possible

If we have the Having the Faith

The size of a Mustard Seed
