This Message is inspired by the Reading “Never Weaken” from the book Overcoming Darkness.

Throughout the Scriptures, we find the importance of Integrity. Seeking first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness is the lens through which we examine our Character. Integrity is fundamental to our Spiritual Growth. It guides us in all we endeavor. We pray continually that the words of our mouths and the meditations of our Hearts are acceptable in God’s Sight. (Matthew 6:33, Proverbs 11:3, Psalm 19:14)

Integrity is doing what is Right even when no one is looking (Right is Right). We all have said things to others that we have not fulfilled. Our Tongue provides momentary lip service that makes another person have a false belief. What we say never happens. We learn to avoid saying anything that we are not planning to do. This way, our Integrity never comes into question. (Proverbs 21:3, 2 Corinthians 8:21)

Self-Examination helps us examine our Integrity. We become mindful of the little things. We are mindful of the words that come from our mouths. We are mindful to let our word be our bond.  Our daily goal is to engage in all holy conversations. Our Spiritual Eyes encourage us to say something good or say nothing at all (A Better Way). We refrain from commentary on what others should be doing. We daily are cleaning up our own house. (I Corinthians 11:28, Luke 16:10, Proverbs 18:21, 1 Peter 3:10, Proverbs 21:3)

Song for the Week:

“Never Weaken” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr Featuring Ed “Sax” Thomas

NEVER WEAKEN

Never weaken Never sway

Just believe in His Promises

Trust in His word every day

Reach for the sky

No force can deny

His Grace is sufficient

For just You and I

The Road may seem tough

Sometimes it gets rough

No cross, no crown

For me, that’s good enough

Never weaken Never sway

For His mercy and kindness

Will brighten any day
