This Message is inspired by the Reading, “The Fears” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.

Franklin D. Roosevelt in his 1933 inaugural address said, “We have Nothing to Fear but Fear Itself.” Fear is a tool of the Enemy to bring uncertainty into our Mind (The Devil is a Lie). Fear challenges our Faith that God Provides all that we need. Fear is a tool Satan uses in his quest for Spiritual Wickedness to prevail. Fear keeps us in Darkness. Fear is an Unclean Spirit. We can cast out Fear with the Name and Spirit of Jesus. Jesus covers and protects us from all Fears. (Ephesians 6:12, Mark 9:25, Acts 26:18)

Fear is a destructive force. It has a negative impact on our ability to think clearly. It can impact our Health and well-being. When we worry, we let fear control our lives. Scriptures tell us to fear not and to not be afraid. When we abide in the Peace that surpasses all understanding we are anxious for nothing. (Proverbs 12:25, 1 John 4:18, Isaiah 41:10, Philippians 4:7)

The desires of our Flesh bring forth Fear. Our Flesh seeks immediate answers to adverse situations we encounter. Our Fear of a negative outcome will bring a negative Outcome. When we rely and Trust in God’s Word, we never walk alone. Fear kept Peter from Walking on Water. When Peter succumbed to Fear of the Roaring Winds, he began to sink. Fortunately, Jesus reached out His Hand and saved Peter. (I John 2:16, Galatians 5:16, Proverbs 3:5-6, John 14:7, Matthew 14:22-33)

Fear makes us doubt and be of little Faith. It diminishes our ability to operate in Our God Given Authority. Fear Limits our ability to operate with a Sound Mind. When we trust that the Lord is Our Shepherd and we shall not want, we overcome the Darkness of Fear. We cast all of our cares on the Lord. (Matthew 16:8, Philippians 4:6-7, Proverbs 18:14, 2 Timothy 1:7, Psalm 27:1, 1 Peter 5:7)

When we focus on God’s Promises, our Flesh submits to God’s Will. God’s Word is our refuge and our strength. We fear no Evil for God always is Walking in front of us. We seek first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness in all that we encounter in life (Seek Ye First). (Psalm 40:8, John 5:30, Psalm 23:4, Matthew 6:33)

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” We Speak the Word and the outcome is always God’s will. Our Spirit is clear. Fear has no place in our lives. Our Faith overcomes all Fears. (2 Timothy 1:7, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 112: 6-8)

THE FEARS

The fear of man

Is the pitfall of life

For the fear of man

Will always bring us strife

The fear of poverty

Brings the pain of poverty

But strong belief

Will overcome and grant relief

The fear of failure

Is failure at hand

But to conquer failure

Is a right for which we stand

The fear of bad health

Is the sickness we receive

So the fear of bad health

We cannot believe

The fear of death

 Is an anxiety of life

For death may come

But keep it out of sight

The fears and hatreds

 Control our mind

From the feeling of knowing

God’s glory divine
