This message is inspired by the Reading “Love” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.

In this Great Time of Trouble, our Human tendency is to despise the person that commits the sin. When we experience attacks on our Character and Well Being, we want to fight back and show the person a thing or two. The Enemy enjoys when we exhibit the characteristic of revenge (Been in the Darkness Too Long). He knows this is a mighty force against us working out our own Salvation. (Matthew 24:21, Daniel 12:1, 1 Peter 3:9, Romans 12:17, I Thessalonians 5:15)

We are all born and raised in inequity. Being born but for a few days, our Spirit is filled with Sin

(None are Righteous). When we attempt to do good, evil is always present. We cut corners and engage in lying and deceit. Fight for pennies and con others for control.  These Sins have taken a disastrous toll on Mankind and Humanity. (Psalm 51:5, Job 14:1-2, James 4:1-2, Romans 7:19-20)

When we Despise the Sin, our Spiritual Eyes see the Spiritual Wickedness in High Places. Our Eyes see how Satan controls the minds of the Masses.  Gross Darkness is covering the Earth. The Devil will attempt to create confusion in any situation and make what is Right difficult to determine. He uses Frustration to take away our smiles. He will mislead us into believing that we always have to fight. However, when we Despise the Sin, we no longer Study War. (Ephesians 6:12, Isaiah 60:2, Colossians 3:9-10)

Overcoming Darkness is our daily challenge.  Learning to Despise the Sin and not the Sinner shows our Spiritual Growth. This is another one of the Character Traits that grants us a Peace that surpasses understanding (Right is Right). We know that God’s Will is always being done and No Weapons formed against us shall prosper. (Micah 7:8, I Peter 2:9, Colossians 1:13)
