This message is inspired by the Reading, “Keep God’s Message” from the Book of Thoughts written by John Stuckey Jr.

Our Flesh is filled with the “I” Spirit. The “I” Spirit leads us into making bad decisions and bad choices.  Our wants and desires influence our reliance on Self and our Self-Righteous Spirit. Since the Serpent stated, “We will not surely Die,” we have made choices and decisions as if we have the Wisdom of God. Mankind has been on the path of self-destruction since the Garden of Eden. (Proverbs 3:5-6, Genesis 3:4, 1 Corinthians 3:19, Matthew 7:13)

We make many decisions and choices on a daily basis.  Our choices and decisions have Consequences. Our Flesh makes decisions that have negative outcomes (Old Man Spirit).  Our Spiritual Eyes (The New Man) make decisions and choices that have positive outcomes. The New Man’s decisions are made in the Spirit of Truth. Decisions are based on a Thus Sayeth the Lord and not an opinion or view. (Colossians 3:9-10, Ephesians 4:22-24, Galatians 5:16-18, Jeremiah 33:2, John 4:24)

As we are transformed by the Renewing of our Mind we examine every choice and decision by rightly dividing the Word of Truth. We are Wise as Serpents. Our choices and decisions are based on the Standard that “Right is Right.  We first commit our ideas and choices to God, then our paths are made straight. (Romans 12:2, 1 Timothy 2:15, Matthew 10:16, Proverbs 16:3)

Wise Choices have a positive impact on our Spiritual Life. We have confidence that God is Ordering Our Steps. Our Faith and Trust in God make unwise Choices a thing of the Past.  Our New Spirit always waits on God to provide direction. All directions and answers are found in His Holy Word. When we commit our Plans to the Lord, we experience success in all we do. (Psalm 27:14, Isaiah 40:31, 2 Timothy 3:16, Proverbs 3:6)

God’s Message is always right

In Life sometimes in our choices we fight

When we see God’s Glory and might

His glory and beauty is a shining light

God’s Spirit Lives within

Helping fight the Spirit of Sin

God can turn wrong to right

Just as God turns day into night

God’s Power is in all Men

To God’s Voice we must Bend

Bad decisions and choices He does Forgive

When God’s Truth, we depend
