That Guides Your Journey
This Message is inspired by the Reading “A Better Way” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.
Anger surrounds us every day. We see it on the News as well as in Our Work and Personal Lives. If we look closely we will find we have anger deeply rooted in our daily lives. The Scriptures provide much guidance. They instruct us to put these passengers aside. (Proverbs 16:32, Proverbs 29:22, Ephesians 4:31-32)
The Scriptures instruct us to put away all bitterness, wrath and anger. When we witness anger in our Character, we understand we are examining matters through our Human Eyes. We revert back to the old way of thinking or even worse, we never let the Old thinking pass away. Anger will never solve problems. (Ephesians 22: 22-24)
We quite often hear “Take the High Road.” We never fight anger with anger. Our Peace is perfect with our minds stayed on Him. (Romans 12:19, Isaiah 26:3)
A Better Way
If you can’t say something good
Say Nothing at All
We can make the world better
With just a little smile
If you can’t make someone Happy
Don’t try to make them sad
If you see that someone is good
Don’t try to make them bad
If you can’t say Thanks
For all He has done for you
Then reach into your mind
And find something good to do
If you can’t say hello
Don’t turn the other way
Share some Love and Kindness
In the Words you choose to say
