WE MUST PRAISE

This message is inspired by the Reading “Just for Me” from the Book, Overcoming Darkness.

When we Praise, we demonstrate our submission to God and His Holy Will. We show our Joy and Thankfulness for the many blessings God bestows upon us.  Many have witnessed the wonderful and marvelous works God has performed in our lives (Nothing But the Lord). (Blessings, Blessings, Blessings) (James 4:7, Psalm 28:7, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

We are a Chosen Race. We are a Royal Priesthood (Who We Are). We proclaim God’s Greatness for bringing us from Darkness into Light. We are the Seed of Abraham from which all the families of the Earth will be Blessed. God is Rewarding us for diligently seeking Him. (1 Peter 2:9, John 1:5, John 11:10, Genesis 28:14, Galatians 3:29, Hebrews 11:6)

The Psalmist, David throughout his Writings Praised the Lord.  David acknowledged God’s Splendor and Majesty. He Praised God for His Mighty Deeds. He often praised the name of God with Song and Magnified Him with Thanksgiving. His Praise for God continually flowed from his mouth. We acknowledge God in all our Ways by giving Him Praise.  (Psalm 104:1, Psalm 34: 1-3, Psalm 150:6, Proverbs 3:5-6)

All of our Help and Guidance comes from God (Whatever We Do). God is our Alpha and our Omega. We Praise God in advance for the Blessings He will bestow upon us. We have Confidence that God’s Will is always being done. God controls the Heavens and the Earth and all that lies within. He is the Author of our Destiny here on Earth.  He is faithful in all of His Promises. (Psalm 121:2, Revelation 21:6, Hebrews 13:21, 1 Chronicles 29:11, 1 Thessalonians 5:24)

We will experience Adversity as a test of our reliance on God (Through The Fire). Satan’s goal is to have us curse God. When we Praise God, we learn that adversity is only for a moment, but His Word lasts forever.  When we believe in God’s Promises, We must Praise. (1 Corinthians 10:13, Job 2:5, Psalm 30:5, Isaiah 42:10)

Song for the Week:

“Just for Me” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr

JUST FOR ME

We must choose our words and be sincere

So our voice is heard loud and clear

And all with a listening ear

Will treasure our words and hold them dear

We are more than just Conquerors

Traveling the road of life

We come to claim the victory

Not pain, Not sorrow, Not strife

And when we choose our words

Never walking in fear

Our Creator’s Heavenly Voice

Resounds in our Ear

Love has been the Key

Throughout Eternity

With His blessing showering

Just for Me
