HUMILITY

This Message is inspired by the Reading, “Love Conquers All” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.

When we act Justly and in Harmony with God’s Holy Word, we are Humbled. Humility and Self-Righteousness can never co-exist (Decent and in Order). It is akin to mixing Oil with Water. Humility is essential to our Righteous Spirit and our Spiritual Growth. Humility brings forth Wisdom. Wisdom brings forth an understanding of God’s Plan for Us. (Strong Meat). (Micah 6:8, James 4:6, Proverbs 15:33, Proverbs 2:6, Proverbs 4:7)

Our Self-Righteous Spirit inhibits our Spiritual Growth. We often attempt to separate our Spirit from our Flesh (A Double Minded Spirit). We apply the thinking of our flesh to our daily affairs and well-being.  We believe that we are in charge of our Destiny and have dominion over the outcome in matters pertaining to our Lives. Growing Spiritually, we find that God Has Ordained All Things to Work for Our Good. Embracing Humility helps us understand that we are not running anything. It is by God’s Grace that we experience success and prosperity (The Cup My Father Pours). He has blessed us with the resources to live life abundantly (Living a Blessed Life). (Philippians 2:3, Matthew 26:41, Psalms 73:23, Romans 8:28, 1 Corinthians 15:10, John 10:10)

In these Last Days, People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, backstabbing, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, and unholy (Unclean Spirits). The World sees Humility as a sign of Weakness. People asserting a Self-Righteous Spirit believe it shows their Strength. In Reality, it is actually a sign of Weakness (I Am Strong But I Am Weak). (2 Timothy 3:2, 2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

When we take the Cares of This World in our Hands we become boisterous, proud, ungrateful and unholy. Humility blesses us with Wisdom to always seek the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness (Seek Ye First). God Promises that All Things to be added unto us. (Mark 4:19, Matthew 6:33)

Love and Humility are synonymous. Love is Perfect, Love is Kind. Love conquers our Self-Righteous Spirit. Love keeps us Humble. We submit to God and His Word in all matters. We demonstrate Humility by walking by Faith and not by sight. We are all called by His name and are humbled to obey His Will. (Ephesians 4:2, 1 Corinthians 13:4, James 4:7, 2 Corinthians 5:7, 2 Chronicles 7:14)

Song for the Week:

“Make God First Today” Featuring Barbara Gamboa and Ed “Sax” Thomas. Written by John Stuckey Jr

LOVE CONQUERS ALL

Love is almighty

The end is never in sight

Love has the power

To fulfill your heart’s delights.

Love is the perfect message

 To send from your heart

Love is the meaning for us

To always make a new start

Love is the promise

We receive everyday

Love is the reason

We watch, look, and pray

It can move yonder mountain

It can calm a raging sea

So surely, wrapped in its arms

Is where we ought to be

Love Conquers all

The big and the small

In the promises to Abraham

Our blessings shall befall
