That Guides Your Journey
This Message is inspired by the Reading “The Road Less Traveled” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.
Blame is a form of Spiritual Wickedness that surrounds us every day. Our Human Spirit resorts to Blame to justify our response to circumstances (“Justification”). We often believe we have the answers and Blame others who may differ with our Opinion. Blame fuels our Self-Righteousness. Our views and opinions are justified by casting others in a bad light. Blame has become so common that our Human Eyes fail to recognize it. All of mankind’s problems are Blamed on someone else or something else. (Romans 2:1, Galatians 6:3)
The enemy promotes Blame to keep confusion in our daily lives. “They” is the common recipient of Blame. It provides an opportunity to present our views and opinions without having a foundation on the facts. “They” becomes an imaginary figure that is a controlling spirit in our lives. (1 Corinthians 14:33, 1 John 4:1)
Blame is also used to cover for our negative actions. We Blame someone else rather than taking responsibility for our actions (“Order”). Our Spiritual Eyes understand that we must conduct Self-Examination. None of us are Righteous (“None Are Righteous”). We refrain from casting the first stone of Blame in all of our affairs. Placing Blame on others is the appearance of Evil. (Galatians 6:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:22, John 8:7)
Blame is never welcome nor pleasing to our Spiritual Eyes. We train our Tongue to refrain from placing Blame (“Our Tongue”). Daily we are working out our own Salvation. (1 Corinthians 2:15).
Our Spiritual Eyes dismiss “Blame” from our vocabulary. We see that all things work together for our good. Seeking wisdom and understanding leaves no place for Blame to dwell within our Spirit. (Romans 8:28, Philippians 4: 8-9, John 16:13)
Song for the Week:
“The Road Less Traveled” written and performed by John Stuckey Jr
THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED
The road less traveled
Far and near
Singing voices of love
Ringing in my ear
Being always mindful of his cheer
Being prayerful for his promises always near
Being overwhelmed by his shining glory
Being blessed to tell the story
The road less traveled
Not a crowded highway
Knowing tomorrow becomes yesterday
Is why we sing Oh Happy Day
Knowing his will
Is always used for good
We can’t doubt his promises
Even if we could
The road less traveled
A highway it is
Full of his blessings
And the promises He fulfills
