That Guides Your Journey
This message is inspired by the Reading “A King” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.
God provided Adam a Helpmeet so He would not be alone. God’s Plan defines the Roles and Responsibilities of the Man as Husband and the Wife as Helpmeet. It begins when the Husband leaves his mother and father and cleaves to his wife. They are to be as one Flesh.(Genesis 2:18, Genesis 2:24)
Today we witness the opposite. Husband and Wife have combative Spirits that keep them from being as One. Husbands have become the weaker Spirit. Wives do not submit to the guidance of the Husband (Submission). God’s word establishes that The Husband is the Head and is granted the Authority to lead the House in the manner prescribed in the Scriptures. God established this Order when he stated that Man is not of a Woman but the Woman of the man. (A Strong Man’s House) (1 Peter 3:7, I Corinthians 11:3, I Corinthians 11:8, Ephesians 5:22)
Many Husbands and Wives are not in Harmony with God’s Order. The lack of Order between them brings an Angered Spirit in their Marriage. There is constant blame (Blame) rather than addressing the root of the problem. The Husband and Wife are not living within the Roles God has established for them. Freewill rather than God’s Will guides their thoughts and actions. (Ephesians 5:25, Ephesians 5:28, 1 Timothy 2:12)
The Good news is that God’s Plan establishes the Order. No Longer will we have differing Views and Opinions of what is God’s Order. We will all come to know God from the Least to the Greatest. (Hebrews 8:11)
Song of the Week:
“A King” Written and performed by John Stuckey Jr.
A KING
What makes a King?
Is it the songs that he sings?
Is it the great gifts
The King always brings?
Is it the King’s Wisdom
That surpasses understanding?
Or is it the King’s courage to play
The last man standing?
Is it the King’s voice
That rings far and near?
Or is it the King’s voice
That makes all things clear?
Is it the King’s understanding
To always know the difference?
Is it not the King’s authority
To always state his preference?
Is it the King’s Love
For his Creator?
Is it the King’s understanding
Of how God grants him favor?
Great is a King
Who is blessed with great insight
To rule his territory
With God’s plan as his might
