WORKING OUT OUR OWN SALVATION

This Topic was inspired by “Clean-Up” from the Book “Overcoming Darkness.” In examining this topic, we must submit to our Spiritual Mind. The Spirit reminds us that it is not another person that needs correction, but we ourselves. We often enslave ourselves to thinking that we can change someone or something. The True Test is passed when we learn to Let Go and Let God in all things. Our Wisdom is foolishness in God’s sight. (1 Corinthians 3:19)

Traveling along life’s highway we find many Generational Curses that we must clean-up.

We refer to these curses as prisoners. These prisoners have to be fed, clothed, and are very high maintenance. To illustrate, we can all relate to this example: In our Old Man Thinking we often have said “They need to do something about that.” Or consider, how often have we heard, “They won’t let you do that?” As we Clean-up our House we learn not to let any unseen and unknown have authority over our thoughts. “They” is a limitation we place in our mind. It is a powerful resource of the enemy. His weapons are in many shapes, sizes. We know he is walking around as a Lion seeking whom he may devour. (Ephesians 4:22-24, 1 Peter 5:8)

When we Clean-up our Own House we put the enemy on notice that no weapons formed against us shall prosper. We let none of his devices conquer our mind. He has no choice but to flee. (1 Peter 5:8, Isaiah 54:17, James 4:7)

God provides His Anointed the gift of Wisdom to know the difference. We have an understanding of the curses of the Old Man. Daily we must renew our mind to rid ourselves of ourselves. The Old Man is at war with the New Man. The old thoughts are the prisoners we try to take on the Spiritual Journey. (Romans 6:23, Ephesians 4:24)

When we Run Our Business we understand that time is no longer available for frivolous thinking. We always Check out of Confusion. Our Vision is continually keeping Oil in our Lamp. (Matthew 25: 2-4)

His anointed are armed with God’s Power. God’s Power is Right. Right is Truth. Our Spiritual Eyes remind us to continually work out our own Salvation. (Philippians 2:12)

Song for the Week

Man in the Mirror: Michael Jackson

CLEAN UP

Clean up your own house

Leave other houses alone

Can’t give me no answers

If your thinking is wrong

Clean up your own mind

You will have lasting Grace

A clean mind is essential

To run the Kingdom Race

Clean up your own life

Let not others interfere

God has a plan for you

And is always standing near

Clean up your own house

And let it be seen

Then we can show others

What a clean house means
