WISE AS A SERPENT PT. 2

This message is inspired by the Reading, “All We Need” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.

The Bible describes the Serpent (Snake) as the most cunning creature on the Earth.  The Serpent’s deceptive ways date back to the Garden of Eden.  Eve was deceived by a Serpent into believing she would not die.  Knowing Satan’s goal is to Kill, Steal and Destroy; we put on the whole Armor of God. We operate Decent and in Order to avoid Satan’s entrapments. (Genesis 3:1-5, John 10:10, Ephesians 6:11, James 4:7)

Satan has Spiritual Powers that awaken our Inner Demons.  He creates negative situations to incite our Anger Spirit. His desire is for us to lose our Inner Peace. Satan’s Spiritual Wickedness distorts the Truth and creates an atmosphere of confusion (The Devil is a Lie). Being Wise as a Serpent, we learn to check out of all confusion and let God’s Will be done in all of our affairs. (Mark 7:20-23, Proverbs 19:11, Proverbs 15:18, 1 Peter 2:15, Philippians 2:13)

Seeking Wisdom and Understanding brings forth Wisdom and Understanding. Our weapon against Spiritual Wickedness are the things that are Pure and Lovely. We are not of this World, thus, never act or respond as those in this World. Our Wisdom and Understanding teaches us A Better Way. We do all things with prayer and supplication. (Proverbs 4:7, Philippians 4:8, Romans 12:2, Philippians 4:6)

Satan attempts to bring forth Harm. His Fruits of Evil continually challenge our Faith. As we become Wiser, our Spiritual Eyes immediately recognize lying and deceit. We can recognize Satan’s attempts to confuse what is Right in God’s Sight (Right is Right). Satan challenges the Spiritually Strong testing their Love of God’s Spirit and Truth. (2 Timothy 4:18, 2 Corinthians 3:16, Psalm 1:1-2, John 4:24)

God’s Anointed display much Wisdom and Understanding (Who We Are). We understand that all the evils of the World shall be dissolved.  God’s Anointed Love God with all of their Heart, all their Soul and all their Might. We are Wise as a Serpent and Harmless as a Dove. (Isaiah 11: 2-3, 2 Peter 3:11-13, Mark 12:30, Matthew 10:16)

Song for the Week:

“All We Need” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr

ALL WE NEED

All we need is to

 Learn how to Pray

Then our God will hear

Every word we say

All we need is to

 Learn how to Learn

This understanding can

Never bring us harm

All we need is to

Learn what to Know

In God’s presence

Worries pack up and go

All we need is to

Learn how to Live

Then we’ll understand

What God’s Presence can give

All we need is to

Learn how to Share

For in God’s Kingdom

Good is present everywhere
