That Guides Your Journey
This message is inspired by the Reading “Love” from the Book, Overcoming Darkness.
The Enemy’s daily goal is to incite Anger. He instills evil spirits within us to make us angry about something or with someone (Do not Give a War Cry). Satan is delighted when we are upset. When another driver cuts in front of us, or a person jumps in front of us while we are in line, or we encounter a rude server in a restaurant: these are all situations created by Satan in his attempt to make us lose our cool (Joy). Anger makes us irrational and invokes our (Self-Righteous Spirit). (Psalm 49:5, Acts 10:38, Titus 2:12-14, Romans 10:3)
Our Spiritual Eyes can see and feel Spiritual Wickedness. Our Eyes see the Evil and Anger that influence Negative Thoughts. Anger can prevail if we fail to appreciate that Right is Right . Fortunately, as we Study to show ourselves approved we gain knowledge as to what God has in store for us (The Devil is A Lie). His promise of No More Tears, No More Sorrows, and No More Pain is continually in our Minds (Be of Good Cheer). Anger becomes a waste of our energy, it causes us to react rather than to take action. (Isaiah 60:2, 2 Timothy 2:15, I Corinthians 2:9, Revelation 21:4)
Anger cannot exist where there is True Love (Whatever Things Are Pure). God has Promised and shown us that His Perfect Love is essential for Mankind’s Salvation. God so Loved us that He sacrificed His Perfect Son as redemption for Sins (Everything Has Balance). What Hope for Salvation would we have if God exhibited Anger toward us? God has overlooked and forgiven our iniquity. (1 John 4:18, John 3:16, Acts 17:30)
Confusion is constantly trying to invade our Peace. As we Overcome Darkness, we rid ourselves of Anger and Discontent. No Battle in this World belongs to us. The Battle for Right belongs to God. We refuse to let anger enter into our Spirit. We rely on God’s protection 24 hours a day. When we are tested by Anger, we rebuke it as one of the wiles of the Devil. We never lose our Praise. (James 1:19-20, Psalm 24:8, James 4:7, Hebrews 13:15)
Love is a Universal Language all can understand. This is the breastplate of our Armor. With Love, we can always flee the Devil and He Will always Flee from us. (1 Corinthians 13:7, 1 Corinthians 13:3, Ephesians 6:1, James 4:7)
Song for the Week:
“Love” featuring Ed “Sax” Thomas. Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr
LOVE
Love is not just a four letter word
That comes from our mouths just to be heard
Love is a great blessing in life
Working together as Husband and Wife
Love is not blind
And just in our mind
Love is always Prefect
Patient True and Kind
Love is the manner
In how we show we care
Love is the feeling
In our hearts we share
When you find Love
Instill it in your Heart
Treasure it Deeply
And never let it part
