That Guides Your Journey
This message is inspired by the Reading “Mr. Law” from the book Overcoming Darkness.
Our system of Justice is based on old English Common Law allowing courts to use their discretion to apply justice. Law of Equity administers Judgement in accordance with God’s Spirit of Right. Law of Equity supersedes Common Law as it does not rely on Opinions or Views. Law of Equity is always based on Truth and Facts. (1 Kings 18:2, Galatians 1:10)
The current system of Justice in America has conflicting views and opinions. Judges are rendering different Decisions on the same matter. It appears that our System of Jurisprudence is an extension of our Political System. Our Highest Court is selected by Politicians who have the majority vote in their Chamber of Congress. (Deuteronomy 16:18-19, Isaiah 1:17)
King David reigned over all of Israel, administering justice and equity to every one of his people. Justice and Equity were embedded in his Character. His Wisdom surpassed all understanding. David demonstrated much compassion. Today, we witness Satan’s influence over this world. Satan uses our Judicial System to promote confusion (Devil is a Lie). We must remind all that Satan’s goal is always to steal, kill and destroy. (2 Samuel 8:15, Isaiah 30:18, John 12:31-33, John 10:10)
God has Blessed the World to be Judged in Righteousness. In God’s Kingdom (Thy Kingdom Come) the Law of Equity will govern. As the Light shines Brighter until that perfect day we will experience true Justice in Courts that are rooted in the Law of Equity. There will no longer be legal strongholds used by Satan to promote miscarriages of Justice. Every Knee will bow and every tongue will confess. (Psalm 9:8, Proverbs 4:8, Isaiah 45:23)
We are providing the following Scriptures that provide insight into Justice and Equity:
1 Chronicles 18:14, Psalm 9:8, Psalm 17:2, Psalm 67:4, Psalm 89:14, Proverbs 1:3
Song for the Week:
“A King” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr
MR. LAW
You have made many laws
That deny freedom of speech
You have made many laws
That deny the right to teach
You have made many laws
To protect you from your fellow man
You have made many laws
For just a few
To use anyway they can
You have made many laws
To keep the poor, poor
You have made many laws
Making life difficult for some to endure
You have made many laws to deny us
The freedom in which we can live
You have made many laws
For which respect is hard to give
It’s not Man’s, Law
But God’s Perfect Law
That will guide us every day
Being Hearers and Doers of His word
Striving for His Perfect Way
