This Message is inspired by the Reading, “Face of God” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.

We often hear that the only thing that is constant is Change.  The question is, Is all change Good? Is the Grass Greener on the Other Side?  If changes are Ordained and Supported by God’s Word, it is Ordained by God.  If Change is promoted by our feeble and Self-Righteous ways, then it is not supported by God’s Word. (2 Timothy 3: 16-17)

Our flesh will seek its desires rather than the desires that encourage our Spiritual Growth. The Flesh champions, “I did it My Way.” As we grow in Faith, our Spiritual Eyes focus on what is Decent and in Order. The Grass is never greener on the other side if in this life we only have hope. God has promised that all these things in this World shall be dissolved. (Matthew 26:41, 1 Corinthians 14:40, 1 Corinthians 15:19, 2 Peter 3:12)

Eve thought the Grass was Greener on the Other Side. The result was Sin and Death. Adam submitted to the Order of his Helpmate. The result was Sin and Death.   Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego submitted to the Will of God. They showed their confidence that even if God did not deliver them, God had the ability to deliver them from the Furnace. They held steadfast to God’s Word. The Grass was not Greener on the Other Side. (Genesis 3:1-19, Exodus 4:2-4, Daniel 3:16-18)

Seeking God’s Kingdom and His Righteousness is our daily goal (Working out our own Salvation). We understand that the Cup our Father Pours for us we must Drink, Our Faith is grounded in matters that are pure and lovely, The Grass is always green where we abode. We stand back and see the salvation of the Lord. (Matthew 6:33, Matthew 26: 39-41, Philippians 4:8, Exodus 14:13)

Jesus provided us a great example. When tempted by Satan with control of the Kingdoms and glories of this World,  Jesus Responded, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve”. The Grass is always Green when we worship God in Spirit and in Truth. (Matthew 4:8-19, John 4:24)

“Mountain Top” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr featuring Ed “Sax” Thomas

FACE OF GOD

When we reach the Mountain Top

God shines His light on us

To be His chosen vessel

For all things in Him we trust

When we reach the Mountain Top

Wisdom and Knowledge are clear

When He holds us in His arms

His loving voice is easy to hear

When we reach the Mountain Top

It’s not the World we see

When we reach the Mountain Top

We see our Destiny

The Light God shines is always Brighter

It makes our burdens much lighter

Never believing in yourself

Our Heavenly Father always knows best
