That Guides Your Journey
This Message inspired by the Reading “Walking The Line” from the Book Overcoming Darkness.
The Bible gives us many examples and Stories of Unyielding Faith. Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son Isaac; Moses parting the Red Sea; David in his defeat of Goliath; Daniel in the Lion’s Den; The Three Hebrew Boys faith in being delivered from the Furnace; Lot, not looking back as he escaped from the ruin of Sodom and Gomorrah; Joshua fighting in the Battle of Jericho and witnessing the walls falling down; and of course Job, who sacrificed all that he had to demonstrate his Faith in God. (Genesis 22:1-2, Exodus 14:21, 1 Samuel 17:46-50, Daniel 6:22, Daniel 3:17, Genesis 19:17, Job 27:1-8)
The Great Spiritual Leaders in the Bible have one common Thread: Each of them when challenged exhibited an Unyielding Faith. These Great Leaders never submitted to the Cares of this World. They demonstrated that God’s will is always being done (Right is Right). Our Spiritual Mind emulates the Faith similar to the Faith of the great Spiritual Leaders in the Bible. (Mark 14:36, Mark 4:19, Ezekiel 3:8-9)
Our Spiritual Eyes understand that Unyielding Faith is the Standard for Overcoming Darkness. Our Faith is understanding that which we have not seen is sure to be manifested in accordance with God’s Will. God’s Word will never return unto Him Void. All that we experience on Life’s Highway is allowed by God. It all works for our good. (Hebrews 11:1, Isaiah 55:11, Romans 8:28)
Unyielding Faith is difficult to comprehend with our Human Eyes. Our desire to know all answers inhibits our ability to increase our Faith. When we Let Go and Let Go, we demonstrate an appreciation of letting God direct our Path. Faith can move Mountains and calm a raging Sea. This is the Faith that keeps us in Perfect Peace because our minds are stayed on Him. (Psalm 37:23, Proverbs 16:9, Matthew 17:20-21, Isaiah 26:3)
Song of the Week:
“Make God First” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr and Barbara Gamboa
WALKING THE LINE
The path of right and wrong
Is ever present and near
It’s only for those
Who have an ear to hear
When life tries to take away
Your very existence
Our human instincts
Are to fight with all Resistance
Some will cross the line
And lose their way
Thank God for His Promise
For a much brighter day
It’s a thin line
Between Love and Hate
The fruits of Anger
We do not partake
Only the strong will survive
With God’s strength and might
Of God ’s great Love
When we practice Right is Right
