This message is inspired by the Reading “Thoughts” from the Book “Overcoming Darkness.”

As we grow Spiritually, we develop a Peaceful approach to the Cares of this World. The Cares of This World are the greatest challenge to our Patience. We learn not to engage in the thoughts that bring forth The Anger Spirit.  The enemy will provide a daily test of our Patience. His goal is to kill, steal and destroy. He accomplishes this goal by spreading confusion and inciting conflict (Proverbs 15:18, Proverbs 14:29).

The Human Spirits around us challenge our Patience.  These Human Spirits try to convince us that we alone have the answers and the solutions. Our Spiritual Eyes inspire us to always Let Go and Let God. Our growth in Patience gives us the ability to endure and overcome all challenges. We develop the strength to withstand all the negative spirits of the enemy. We know that his goal is to bring Darkness and adversity into our day. (James 5:11, Ephesians 6:11)

Our Daily Focus is on The fruits of the Spirit. We focus on Love, Joy and Peace. When the enemy attempts to invade our space, he gets no response (A Better Way). The enemy will always flee when we do not check into his  confusion (Galatians 5:22, Isaiah 40:31, James 4:7,)

Good Thoughts become our daily mission in Overcoming Darkness. When we think good thoughts, our Patience Never Weakens. (Ephesians 6:13-16)

Song of the Week

“Good Thoughts” Written and Performed by John Stuckey Jr

THOUGHTS

A flower can we grow

Without the rain water’s flow

A mind can we reach

Without the tools to teach

A day can we see

Without wanting a sun that shines

Life’s highway can we travel

Without a little time

A river cannot flow

Without a place to go

A picture cannot exist

Without a scene to show

A life can we live

Without wanting to give

Blessings do we deserve

If God, we do not serve
