Join Our Moses Lake, Washington Team as an Emergency Medicine Physician – A Role Designed for You

Sound Physicians is a physician-founded and led, patient-first medical group grounded in one belief: better support for clinicians leads to better care for patients. Our emergency medicine teams are empowered to lead care locally with the backing of a strong national network committed to clinical excellence, intentional leadership development, and collaborative partnership. Here, you’ll practice alongside care teams that work seamlessly across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Critical Care—creating smoother transitions, stronger accountability, and better outcomes for the communities we serve.

If you’re looking for a place where your clinical judgment is valued, your growth is supported, and your work truly makes a difference, we’d love to talk.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of 8 EM residency-trained, Board-Certified physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers at Samaritan Healthcare.
  • Work alongside our team of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who are supportive and collaborative with other staff and departments.
  • Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
  • Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.

Qualifications:

  • We welcome both physicians coming out of training and experienced physicians looking for a career change.
  • Emergency Medicine Board-Certified/Board Eligible (ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified or Board Eligible)
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • Shifts include: 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 7p-7a
  • We understand the importance of work-life balance. Our flexible scheduling allows you to spend quality time with your loved ones or enjoy the outdoors. We cover for each other when needed and strive to accommodate requested days off. Holidays are scheduled equitably.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Level III trauma center with an annual ED volume of 26,500.
  • 9-bed ED plus 2-bed triage and fast care.
  • Sup-Specialty Support available: General Surgery, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine/Hospitalist, Radiology with Real-Time Reads 24/7, CT/Ultrasound 24/7, MRI 7 days a week, OMFS, ENT, Ophthalmology, Urology, GI, Tele-neurology.
  • A brand-new hospital is being built and is on track to open in March 2026.

Living and Working in Moses Lake:

  • Moses Lake is a place where work and nature blend seamlessly. Known for its expansive lake and stunning desert landscapes, this Washington gem offers the peace of small-town living, while being less than a half-day's drive away from the bigger cities of Spokane and Seattle.
  • Enjoy the vibrancy of outdoor adventures, whether boating, fishing, or enjoying the local arts scene. Moses Lake is where you can truly enjoy life.

Compensation:

  • Base annual 1099 compensation is a minimum of $396k per year.
    • $50k commencement bonus for a full-time commitment of 120 hours or more.
