FUNCTIONS AND PROCESSES – NOT PEOPLE

This message is inspired by the “Keys to Successful Living” (Be A Blessing). 

As we Overcome Darkness we gain Wisdom in controlling our “I” Spirit. Our “I” Spirit enables our Free Will.  Our Free Will enables a Spirit of Self Righteousness.  Our Self Righteous Spirit invites us to believe that we have unbridled Authority. (Luke 18: 9-14)

Our Spiritual Eyes understand the meaning of Functions and Processes. We embody God’s Order and let God’s Word be the Beacon that Orders Our Steps.  We understand that this Light manifests itself in all that we endeavor. We seek God’s Will in all matters. (Function) We carry out all of our responsibilities in a manner that glorifies Him. (Process) Our Free Will has no Authority in God’s Plan. (Not People) (Psalm 37:23, Matthew 5:16)

Our Human Spirit takes pleasure in believing the process does not work without Us. The Human Spirit enjoys the appearance of being in Charge. When we focus on Functions and Processes we refrain from biting off the fruit of aggrandizement. We understand and practice, “to whom much is given much is required.”(Luke 12:48)

We remind ourselves daily that Functions and Processes are no respecter of Person. We are not running anything.  (Romans 2:11)

Is why we sing Oh Happy Day

Knowing his will

Is always used for good

We can’t doubt his promises

Even if we could

The road less traveled

A highway it is

Full of his blessings

And the promises He fulfills
